Zambia
These photographs were taken in Zambia which I have visited many times between 1977 and 1985 but rarely with my camera.
All the photographs were taken in October 1978 of the Victoria Falls from the Zambian side. It was the dry season and the falls were unusually dry that made it easier to photograph. In the wet season it is difficult to take photographs because of the high level of spray. There is a continuous roar as the water falls and the falls are known in the local language as "Musi-O-Tunya" which means "Thundering Clouds" because of the spray.
